Keep Sevier Beautiful is sponsoring a Recycled Garden-Yard Art Deco Contest for our Wears Valley Fall Fest. Sevier County student/resident participants can create a whimsical, elegant or simple design made from recycled or repurposed materials for a garden-yard decoration. Entry suggestions may include wind chimes, ower planters, fountains, and birdhouses/birdbaths, yard art sculptures/decora- tions, rain chains, garden stakes or markers. Entries must be transported and taken to/from the site by participants.

The Wears Valley Fall Fest will take place next to Tennessee State Bank off Route 321 near Robeson Rd. in Wears Valley. The garden/yard art should be brought to the Kid’s Tent at the fall fest for judging on October 21 by 11 am. Winners will be announced and photographed Saturday, October 21 at 1:00 pm at the Kid’s Tent. Entries can be picked up any time after judging, but must be picked up by Sunday, October 22 by 3:00 pm. Remember traf c gets congested during the fall fest.

5 Age Categories

Kindergarten through Second Grade
Third Grade through Fifth Grade
Sixth Grade through Eighth Grade
Ninth Grade through Twelfth Grade
Adults aged 19 and up

  • First Place Winners in each category will receive a $50.00 cash prize and two tickets to Dollywood.
  • Second Place Winners in each category will receive a $25.00 cash prize.


Applicants must fill out and bring an official Keep Sevier Beautiful entry form with them to the event. Entries must be picked up by October 22 at 3:00 pm from the event location.
